About the author: Amelia Tait built her career as a freelance features journalist, exploring lifestyle, culture and trend stories for publications such as The New York Times, Guardian, and The New Statesman. She has also written humour for McSweeney’s and The New Yorker. In 2020, she was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe. Amelia was born in Bradford and grew up in Richmond, North Yorkshire. From the ages of 13 to 18, she recorded her life in nine diaries, inspired by her love of The Princess Diaries series and her overwhelming need to write poems about boys. Aged 18, she moved to London to study history at university, despite the fact she had never visited the capital city before. She's lived there ever since. Lily Tripp: Diary of an Accidental Time Traveller is her debut children’s book.

About the book: Every New Year's Day, Lily Tripp wakes up in a new century. Thank goodness her bestie, family and secret crush all time-travel with her too...even if they don't know it. But how will she live in a time before chicken nuggets were invented? Why are her brother's clothes so ridiculous in every era? And how on earth can she cope with being mean girl Georgia's servant?! Join Lily as she bounces throughout history navigating friendship dramas, first love and family. It's the perfect book to read after LOTTIE BROOKS and GEEK GIRL!
