Tim Pope is a maverick film director who has made over 200 music videos and live performance films since the early 1980s. A true pioneer of the medium, his iconic visual style helped define MTV and the golden era of music television. He has collaborated with an extraordinary roster of legends—including Paul McCartney, The Pretenders, The Bangles, Talk Talk, and Fatboy Slim—and remains best known for his long-standing, visionary work with The Cure.
