About the Book: Life Out of Order
Two great loves. A world in chaos. And a life that never lands in order.
Alba DeTamble is a time traveler, slipping unpredictably through decades like her father before her. But the hardest thing she carries isn’t the burden of futures she can’t understand or pasts she cannot change—it’s a secret: she is in love with two different people. Zach lives in the present and cannot follow her when she disappears. Oliver can travel through time, just like she can.
---
As Alba careens through time, she must face a question she can no longer avoid: how is it possible to love, and live a meaningful life, in an increasingly fractured world? Life Out of Order is a breathtaking, kaleidoscopic story of resilience, hope, and love when time is running out.
During this exclusive Bookclub session, Audrey will discuss:
Returning to the World of Henry & Clare: What it felt like to revisit her global phenomenon after selling over 9 million copies.
Alba’s Story: Exploring the unique challenges and heartbreaks of a new generation of time travel.
Exclusive Q&A: A rare, intimate conversation with readers following in the footsteps of previous Bookclub guests like David Nicholls, Kristin Hannah, and Elizabeth Day.
