About the Book: Grief Talking

"I am a being formed by loss, and I am uniquely more alive, more grateful, more compassionate... I don’t think I ever really felt joy until I faced into my grief."

In Grief Talking, much-loved actor and screenwriter Greg Wise offers a heartfelt, honest exploration of the chaotic, messy journey of death. Drawing on his own encounters with traumatic grief, intergenerational sorrow, the pain of infertility, and caring for his sister Clare through terminal cancer, Greg advocates for a vital shift in our suppressive modern culture of mourning.

Rather than hiding from loss, Greg shows how honesty, vulnerability, and simple rituals can help us heal, connect, and reclaim genuine joy.
