Nadia Shireen - the fantastically funny world of Grimwood! (NATIONAL SCHOOLS VIRTUAL EVENT)

Join Nadia Shireen as she takes students into the bonkers world of the Grimwood series. She will introduce them to the crazy cast of Grimwood inhabitants along the way and share what it's like to be an author / illustrator. A highly interactive event for students aged 7-11 with both a reading and draw-a-long included.

All the children will be able to watch the event from the comfort of their classroom or school hall.

This event is FREE to all Schools. We are an independent bookshop and rely on book orders as the only source of income for this initiative to continue. We urge all schools to circulate our book ordering link to parents so they can order SIGNED COPIES of the book from us at a discounted price. Parents are not obliged to purchase a copy.

Once registered, you will receive the event link automatically. We will send you an email with details on how parents can order SIGNED copies of the Grimwood books.

Her debut picture book Good Little Wolf received a mention in the BolognaRagazzi Opera Prima Award and won the UKLA Book Award. Other books include The Bumblebear, which was distributed to over 700,000 children as part of BookTrust’s Time to Read campaign, as well as Billy and the Beast and Billy and the Dragon. Nadia has been shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, the Waterstones Children's Book Prize, the Week Junior Book Award, the Laugh Out Loud Book Awards and the Books Are My Bag Reader Awards, and has been Writer-Illustrator in Residence for BookTrust.
