Welcome Blue Peter Best Story Award-winning author Kieran Larwood to your school to talk about his amazing new book series.
Calling all Dungeon Runners! There’s a space for a new team of heroes – this is the children's chance to enter the leagues and fight their way to the top!
Kieran Larwood will provide an a-maze-ing, puzzle-solving event! The children will have to put their skills to the test, create their own characters and embark on an adventure, as they find out whether they have what it takes to become a Dungeon Runner…

Dungeon Runner: Fang Attack
An action-packed adventure series from Blue Peter Award-winning author, Kieran Larwood and Waterstones Children's Book Prize winner, Joe Todd Stanton. Kit and his trusty teammates, Sandy and Thorn, are heading to land of the vampires for their most fearsome test yet. Author bio:
Kieran Larwood was born in Kenya. He moved to the UK when he was 2 and lived in various places before settling on the Isle of Wight where he can still be found: exploring rockpools, climbing trees and writing - slowly disappearing behind a mountain of notebooks and empty coffee mugs.

He taught Reception class in a primary school for fifteen years before becoming a full-time author. Kieran’s books have won several awards, including the Blue Peter Best Story and the Prix Sorcières. He is inspired by a life-long love of fantasy stories, which all began when - as a young boy - he picked up a copy of The Hobbit and saw the map inside. It just goes to show - you never know where opening a book will lead...
